Winnie Mae fuselage
The Winnie Mae's records are posted on the side of her fuselage: Los Angeles to Chicago 9 hours, 9 minutes, 4 second, August 27, 1930; and Around the World 8 days, 15 hours and 51 minutes, July 23, to July 1, 1931. In this 1933 solo flight around the world, Wiley Post would crack that record, circling the globe in 7 days and 19 hours. Archives, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
